A barrel with a non-removable upper bottom of type 1a1

Housing: Welded seam, 2 standard stiffeners.

Options: Stiffeners, additional corrugation.

Bottom: Domed bottom of the standard type.

Top cover: Standard top cover.

Assembly: The upper and lower lids are connected to the barrel body by means of a sealed closing seam.

Coloring: Colors in accordance with the RAL standard or according to the customers special specification.

Additional options: multi-color painting, application of logos and trademarks on the case.

Internal coating: For packing in steel barrels of some products, it is necessary to use an additional internal coating. The companys specialists offer their recommendations on choosing a specific type of interior coating based on the RDL (Regular Drum Lining) varnish system.

Necks:

The necks can be equipped with caps-seals, painted white or decorated in accordance with the wishes of the customer (corporate colors / logo / trademark).

1 – neck;
2 – corrugation;
d1 – inner diameter;
D2 – the outer diameter of the rolling corrugations;
D3 – the outer diameter of the sunset seam;
H1 – overall height of the barrel;
h2 – the distance between the corrugations;
h3 – the distance of the bottom from the floor;
p1 – the distance between the centers of the necks;
p2 is the distance from the axis of the filler neck to the outer surface of the body, measured in 50 mm from the top of the barrel.

Notes:
1. The axes of the necks should be positioned vertically.
2. The depth of the upper lid should ensure that the filler necks do not reach above the sunset seam.
3. For barrels with a concave upper bottom, the overall height H1 can be increased by 4 mm to ensure a given capacity.

Domed bottom of standard type
The central part of the bottom has a bulge outwards. This design allows you to increase the capacity of the barrel and compensate for the decrease in internal volume due to the standard concave top lid and corrugation. The central convex part of the lid moves with a small amplitude under the influence of internal excessive/insufficient pressure. This design makes it possible to solve problems by weighing barrels on automatic bottling lines, as well as with pops, which are a consequence of the difference in atmospheric and internal pressures.
